Buenos Aires was her home until she turned 6, after which the family moved in Victoria in London. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. After she turned 16, she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware that she wanted to become an actor.
